The Templar Room is located on the Third Floor and incorporates a mezzanine balcony with additional theater seating. This large rectangular room measures approximately 68 by 48 feet with a 38-foot high vaulted ceiling representing a Medieval chapel. It is a most impressive environ and is highly appropriate for wedding ceremonies. Much of the features and appointments are original to the building including the extensive wood work and joinery.
The walls of the Templar Room consists of varnished birch paneling. The balcony balustrade and railings are also varnished birch that matches the paneling. The wood exposed beam vaulted ceiling incorporates hand painted patterned insets. All of this is complimented with a series of twelve hand painted murals on the flanking walls.
The north wall contains the arched proscenium and stage. A variety of stage drops are available to create a variety of themed scenes. All of this plus the pipe organ will create the most impressive wedding ceremony.
